Maintenance Control Technicians provide support on aircraft mechanical and equipment issues to a range of airline employees, including pilots, flight attendants, agents and mechanics. They also coordinate parts movement and the manpower required to quickly repair out-of-service aircraft. When necessary, they travel to the aircraft or station to provide on-site assistance and guidance on the repair action to be taken to return the aircraft to service.

 

Our intent was not to change the actual scope of the work, but to clarify the existing language about the work performed.
