One of the key objectives of the Reservations restructuring plan was to prevent outsourcing by shifting additional Reservations positions to home-based work.
We have made minimal changes to compensation for home-based workers, who are at market rates today. Tier 3 employees, who perform the most complex work, see no change to base pay. Representatives now in “non-traditional” part-time positions were able to choose between a full-time or part-time position; their department depended on their system seniority. Any office-based worker was able to move to home-based work in any of our five remote offices.
