Our goal is to reach a consensual agreement with our AFA-represented Flight Attendants that allows Eagle to emerge from restructuring as a profitable and successful company, with costs that are in line with the most competitive large regional airlines.
The two primary drivers of our cost gap within the Flight Attendant workgroup are the longevity of our employees and work rules that prevent us from achieving productivity that is comparable to Eagle’s competitors. We are proposing a number of changes to the pay and work rules that will address this cost disadvantage and improve efficiency.
